Disney Magic and More

Tinseltown Performing Arts Studios, Douglasville, GA

The Thomas Academy of Dance, Inc. held their second annual spring recital during the Memorial Day weekend.  The theme was "Disney Magic and More," and featured a scene from my book, "THE STORY OF NUNDI - A Second Chance."  The show was awesome.  All of the dancers worked hard, looked lovely and performed wonderfully.  The venue was pretty cool too.  Many thanks to Margo Thomas, owner of the Thomas Academy of Dance, for including Nundi in the show.  Check out the pictures and the video clip of snippets from the performance.

Rare Pearls Fashion Show

Douglasville Conference Center, Douglasville, GA

This fundraiser was presented by Rare Pearls, a mentoring program that targets young women ages 12 - 22. The theme was "Fashion Fusion: Where fierce meets fabulous," and there was plenty of both to go around!  It was a wonderful event with great entertainment, energy, and lots of beautiful people.  Many thanks to Kenni Simpson and Dana Haynes for inviting me.

National Book Club Conference, August 7-8, 2015

J.W. Marriott, Atlanta, GA

Had great time over the weekend at the National Book Club Conference.  This annual event is a haven for writers, publishers, and bookworms.  It was brimming with talent and knowledge.  I was a sponge soaking it all in.
